Frequently Asked Questions

How long after my wedding do you need my bouquet?

It is best to get them to me asap. However life happens. If you can have them to me within a week after the wedding that is best.

When do you need my complete order by?

I ask that all items in your order be selected, at the latest, the week of your wedding. This will ensure I have all the information needed to know if your flowers need to be pressed or placed in silica.

How do I get my flowers to you?

Your flowers can either be dropped off to my business located in Brooklyn, CT or I am happy to send you a detailed form with instructions for shipping.

Can I add items to my order after you have started the preservation process?

Absolutely!! As long as we have enough flowers available for what you would like to add, I am happy to create extra items for you.

How can I check on my order?

I normally will reach out to you right before I get your order started for design authorization which will give you an idea when to expect your order complete. While your flowers are waiting their turn to be made in to your beautiful items, they are safely kept in their own separate sealed containers.

How long does it take to complete my order?

I usually give you an estimated time frame based on your order. However, resin and flowers are very delicate items to work with. Timeframes can easily be longer than anticipated if pieces need extra attention. (Average time frame is around 8-10 months, but again, it can be longer)

Is there a design approval?

Most main items will have design approval. This is when I create the floral design I am planning to use for your item, before any resin is poured you get a visual of the floral design.

*Main items not included for design approval are: small arch, bookends and wall hanging. All add-on-items do not have design approval.

Will the colors of my flowers change?

Flowers as we know can be very delicate. Some flowers can very well shift in color. A couple of those changes may be:

-Reds or deep colored flowers- may get darker

-Whites-may become more off white or have a slight yellow tone to them – Keep in mind they will not remain bright white.

-Some greenery- may become a little brown in the drying process but I do my best to pick the best of each type.

Will you ship extra flowers back to me with my order?

Unfortunately I cannot offer this mainly because the flowers can become very delicate every time they are handled for designing. If you are looking to hold on to as many flowers as possible I do suggest looking into all the larger size items I offer.

When are payments due?

Hold deposits can be made at time of booking which will ensure your spot on my calendar.

First Deposit- Must be made before flowers are dropped off or shipped to me.

Second Deposit-  Must be made once items are complete – Orders will not ship until this step is done.

Payment plans- I understand that floral preservation can be quite an expense, so I am happy to work with you and create a payment plan that works for you with orders that are over $900.

What if I have a particular style in mind, but you don't offer it?

I am always looking to add more items to my menu, if you have a shape or specific item you were thinking of, and I believe it would be a great fit to my item menu I am happy to do the research and do my best to make it happen for you.
